My order for the Midland 75-822 CB radio and Little Will antenna came quickly. I am impressed with the quality and the ease of use for the Midland handheld CB. I am able to move it between vehicles easily and use battery the battery packs if on foot. Reception is excellent and clear. I highly recommend this little CB radio and the Little Will antenna.

The ant. mount worked very well. #PC22-4000 I modified the ant. hole to a 3/4” opening to be able to install my Wilson 5000. Even by opening the mounting hole to a larger size, driving on the highway the mounting bracket stills holds the ant. in place. ( 70 to 75 mph) This is a strong mounting bracket. I don’t know if it was necessary? But I removed the painted surface where the bracket comes into contact with the truck and also drill a small hole on the end of the tab of the bracket and ran a short pc. of 8 gauge to the frame just inside of the upper finder. I’m not saying this needs to be done. But my SWR is stupid crazy low. It’s a strong bracket.

I'll give 10 stars for the quality of this kit! HOWEVER, after 4 straight days, (my entire labor day wknd) of messing around with it, I couldn't get the swr readings under 2.5! no matter what I did I couldn't get below 2! and YES, I was using a external swr meter!! I tried absolutely EVERYTHING but no matter what I did I just couldn't get the numbers down! moved it from rear of fender to front and nothing happened! very disappointed in this! I called 2 cb professionals one with 37yrs experience and he said, "those hood channel mount kits rarely work on most vehicles especially ones that are all metal. their mainly used on jeeps or vehicles with minimal metal bodies due to reflection and thats what your experiencing"! I ran tinned copper braided body grounding straps in 6 locations, even the body of my radio is grounded, but no matter what I did nothing helped! while this isnt RCR's fault I do feel slightly mislead! but im not blaming RCR for my bad experience. this was purchased for my 2011 F150. while my experience was horrible, and expensive, I'm not going to say this kit won't work for you! but in my experience it's a HUGE waste of time and money! but the quality of the firestik FS II antenna is great! the mount is very sturdy, spring is very good quality and will handle the 4 foot antenna great! the quick connect is awesome and is perfect for removing so somebody who doesn't want they're antenna stolen off they're vehicle can easily remove it!! again, this is not in any way a negative review of right channel radios!! they just sell the products! I will shelf this kit and maybe it'll work on a different type of vehicle. but in the case of my F150, it just won't work! good luck to anyone who buys this kit, I hope you have better experience with it than I did!! switching to a magnet mount because thats what every pro is telling me!! very happy with RCR and no "bad feelings" towards them👍

Well worth it. Bought a truck camper and had to relocate the antenna mount and this is perfect!

I just recently bought a driver extreme premium coax cable and it’s a lot better than the one it’s replacing! The “old” one is actually brand new but was having issues with the reception crackling in and out while driving.
Upon further inspection the coax literally pulled out from the connector which is why it was crackling.
The driver coax is way better built and should last for a good while.
Right Channel Radios shipped the coax very quickly and just recently answered a few questions I had on an unrelated SWR problem I was having, they are very helpful!

Paired this with a Uniden 885 on my Jeep. Works great picks up clear signals much better than the suction cup window antenna that came with the 885.
