When Jeep stepped up to the new JL, we knew we had to step up our CB kit as well. Our new JL kit includes everything you need and doesn't leave any space for you to question if you got the right "stuff." This kit's built around the President Bill II AM/FM Radio, which is known for durability and ultra-compact size. This kit gives you two mount options, one attaching to the fender using existing bolts and the other attaching to the tailgate. Both give you a clean install that has a sufficient ground plane BUT the fender mount is the only option for the Gladiator. A JL-specific microphone mount gives you a place to keep your CB so it's not sitting in the cup holder. Treat your Jeep to the CB setup it deserves - a complete package designed specifically with JL & Gladiator drivers in mind.

Radio:This kit is built around the President Bill II AM/FM Radio. This ultra-compact unit is perfect for Jeeps, Tacomas, UTV's and other small-cab vehicles. The radio is nearly the same size as your iPhone and includes a quick release bracket for easy removal. Features include NOAA weather, 6-pin mic, and channel scanning.

Antenna:

The kit provides two antenna options in 3' and 4' lengths:

  • Firestik FS (Black): The Firestik FS series is the most popular fiberglass CB antenna on the market today due to its transmit and receive performance. Also, you can add a CB spring to the antenna and mount to provide limited flexibility if desired. If optimal range is most important, the Firestik FS antenna is a better choice than the Firestik Firefly.
  • Firestik Firefly (Black): On the trail, it's convenient to have an antenna that can survive getting snagged, bent, bowed and abused. Meet the Firefly, an antenna that is flexible but still has great performance. These 4' antennas provide protection against snapping and hold up well to the rigors of off-road use. While super flexible, they don't offer the same level of transmit and receive performance of the Firestik FS.

Mounting Hardware:

This kit gives you the option between two factory-looking mounts:

The Jeep JL & Gladiator CB Antenna Fender Mount is made of 12-gauge stainless steel and attaches to the driver side hood rail on the JL.

The Jeep JL Teraflex CB Antenna Mount allows you to mount a CB antenna and flag whip using the same mount in existing holes in the tailgate for a clean installation. (this mount will NOT fit the Gladiator)


Additional Information:

This kit also includes a Mopar External Speaker, JL Microphone Mount, CB Coax Cable, and SWR Meter.

  • External Speaker: The Cobra's small speaker can occasionally be difficult to hear, especially over the roar of a revving Jeep engine. That's why we include the Mopar external speaker to ensure clear communication in noisy environments. The speaker has a Jeep insignia on the front and comes with a mounting bracket for easy installation anywhere in the vehicle cab.
  • SWR Meter & Jumper: Every kit includes an SWR Meter with Jumper Cable to tune your antenna for optimal performance. If you're not familiar with the tuning process, you can read why it's important and how to do it properly at the CB Resources page.

Ordered this for an off road weekend. Works flawlessly. Easy to tune. Right Channel Radios has fantastic customer service! Highly recommend!

Evrything you need

This kit was perfect for my needs, installed it in a 2021 Rubicon. Installation was simple, I followed some videos for the best place to run the cable and used the Aux power supply located in the passenger side foot-well. The auxiliary speaker was a nice addition. I didn't find a suitable location in the Jeep so I added a short cable with an audio jack just under the dash. when I want to use the speaker I just plug it in and place it on the dash. My only complaint would be the size of the hole in the Teriflex mount. It is a little oversized for the antenna cable supplied. I made a plastic washer to help get a more stable mount. Right Channel was always very responsive and helpful when I called with questions. I will be reaching out to them for a similar set up to g in my Silverado.
