Designed specifically for the newest breed of Jeeps, this fender mount is made of 12 gauge stainless steel and attaches to the driver side hood rail on the JL and will support antennas up to 5' tall. We recommend pairing this mount with a 4' Firefly antenna, quick disconnect and 9' FireRing coax cable. If you put a 5' antenna on the mount, we strongly recommend using an additional self-tapping screw to further secure the mount to the fender. Don't have a 2018 or newer JL? Perfect pictures about the product and even easier to install. Done in literally 5 minutes. Their only failure is that it also fits perfectly on a 1978 Toyota FJ40, and Right Channel should market it that way too, lots of us out there. Mount right where the fender mates with the firewall. (2) simple drill holes, tighten the bolts, and done. Easy fit in the gap, super clean.
It is Saturday 12-30-2023 and I still have not gotten the right antenna mount!
If you you looking for a simple and easy way to mount any antenna on your Jeep JL this is it. Straight forward installation utilizing an existing bolt. Just loosen, insert mount, and retighten.
Fit and finish is good, its gonna work great once I get it installed! Would buy again but I doubt I’ll ever have to!
