Medium CB Antenna Spring
- Designed for antennas up to 3’ tall, this durable spring protects your antenna, mount and vehicle
- Allows antenna to flex at the mount, preventing broken antennas and damaged vehicles
Whack, whack, whackwhackwhackwhack. Hear that? It’s the sound of low hanging branches, thick brush or the drive-through clearance bar giving your antenna a decent beating. Protect your CB rig with our medium-sized spring, designed specifically for antennas that are up to 3’ tall. This durable, stainless steel spring is rust- and weather-resistant so you don’t have to worry about it lashing around in the elements either. For antennas above 3’, we recommend our heavy-duty spring.

|Fiberglass CB antennas up to 3' tall. For taller antennas, we recommend a heavy-duty spring.
|All fiberglass antennas using an industry-standard 3/8" x 24 thread.
|Easy, tool-free install. Screw the spring into any CB stud or mount, and then screw the antenna into the top of the disconnect. Spring can be used with a quick disconnect; they're simply stacked/screwed on top of one another. Each spring is about 3" tall.
|Medium CB antenna spring
Every antenna should have a spring to protect the antenna, mount and vehicle from hits to the antenna. Firestik springs are made from long-lasting, top-grade electro-polished stainless steel. The upper and lower inserts are made with chrome-plated machined brass and have standard 3/8" x 24 threads to fit all standard 3/8" antennas, mounts and accessories. The medium-duty model works especially well with Firestik's 2' KW & FS series antennas, as well as the 3' FL or RP antennas. Each spring is about 3.0" (76mm) tall with a diameter of 0.800" (20mm).
Right channel radio for your radio hobby that you ever need .
Was having trouble with my trunk mount (used it on the lip of my door) constantly slowly tilting back no matter how far I drove. Since I’ve put the spring in I haven’t had the issue once.
Looks great hopefully it will do its job
Not for a 3' antenna! Too light and it sways around in the wind.
Thanks for the review William. The Medium spring is good for lighter 3' antennas like the Firestik Firefly, Francis and Procomm steel whip. For the Firestik FS, Wilson FGT, or other heavy fiberglass antenna, the Heavy Duty spring is ideal.
We're happy to take the Medium spring back for a refund if you'd like to get the Heavy Duty spring!
No issues at all works just fine.
