If there isn't much room between your fender and mount, the Firestik FireRing cable is ideal. The low-profile ring connection can be mounted above or below the mount surface and is 95% shielded for improved signal performance. At 9' long, this cable is perfect for hood antenna installations as you don't need to store 10+ feet of excess cable in your truck cab. Other features include a weather-resistant connection and a stranded center for increased durability. Please note that this cable does not have a removable end like the FME version. Since the end is not removable, you will need a larger hole if you plan on routing the coax through the firewall of your vehicle.

Works great, easy to attach!
this is a good all around antenna. Its very flexible, and takes a beating and continues to work great.
For my application it’s a perfect length, but I believe the cable is bad and I can’t get a good signal. I believe it was my doing so I’ll have to buy another. Be delicate with the cable where it mounts to your bracket.
Perfect for my application. Wire is hidden and goes right between the hood and fender. Most people think I don't even have a coax.
Right Channel Radio is great when it comes to shipping on time. Parts arrived on the scheduled day and in perfect condition. Installation went fast and easy. VSWR is about 1.2:1 This coax cable is great for installations where space under the antenna is limited and a conventional coax connector doesn't fit. I'm well pleased with the installation.
