Nice radio

Can’t find much to complain about. Very nice radio. Does what I want from a cb radio. Volume is a little low from internal speaker so might want to pair with an external one depending on your conditions of use.

Great, but manage expectations

Great antenna with a pretty strong magnet. Not tuneable, but SWR metered at no higher than 1.5 in my scenario. Kudos to President's manufacturer for a great looking design with nice fit and finish. It's a shorty antenna, so manage your expectations about the effective range capabilities. There are much better choices for mag mounts that offer a longer reach for range, but this makes for a decent starter antenna when buying a President radio to get the extended 5 year factory warranty on the radio: think of it as buying an extra three years of factory warranty for your President radio while getting a basic functional antenna in return. It does its expected job well, as long as you don't expect miracles. Great for the daily grind commuters, leisure off-roaders, or temporary/leasers looking for a basic solution where about a mile max range is adequate. 5 stars for design and ease of use plus the warranty extension on a President radio purchased at the same time, 1 star for the paltry (expected) range, so 3 stars overall.
