Built on a cast aluminum platform, the radio dissipates heat efficiently and protects against vibration. This compact 20 watt AM/FM 10 meter radio has a selectable 7 color LCD  display with a 6 level dimmer for easy viewing day or night. The compact size enables the radio to be mounted easily in most vehicles. Features up/down channel on microphone, microphone gain, high/low RF power, squelch & auto squelch, Hi-Cut filter, Scan, two programmable emergency channels, Talk-back, selectable auto RF Gain or RF Gain, Noise blanker, Roger Beep with 5 selectable tones and -5KHz function. The rugged cast aluminum heatsink efficiently dissipates heat and provides stability to the circuit board to prevent vibration.
