Included with the antenna are 12' of high quality RG58 coax cable, which easily attaches to your CB radio, and a heavy-duty 3" chrome-plated magnet to hold the antenna firmly to your vehicle. Very Pleased

Holds on at 80MPH speed limits. Magnetic base holds strong. Now have a permanent base mount as originally planned. Cheaper to buy this antenna and unscrew off the mag mount than buy a similar antennna-only. My designed system is honestly for NOAA weather band usage.

Magnet is junk.

You'd better permanently mount this to your vehicle. I had this antenna on my vehicle for a total of 20 minutes before it blew off the roof at only 40 mph and I've never seen it again.

Short Range.

I bought two versions of this antenna a couple months ago; the 8" & 24". Neither one could be tuned to an SWR below 2. Both are fine for weather station reception but have less than a mile of line-of-sight CB reception.
