The kit comes with an 18" stainless steel 450-470 MHz 3DB UHF Antenna

Mounting Hardware:

Includes radio-specific mount and mounting hardware along with a Jeep JK antenna mount, giving you a factory-looking install.

    Additional Information:    		The included NMO coax cable has a removable NMO end that allows you to attach the connection inside a standard 3/4" hole. Simply pull off the NMO connection, route it through the hole in the mount and press it back on. Then, thread on the antenna.

            New to GMRS

            I recently bought a GMRS radio (Midland MXT 400) and a Magnetic base antenna. So new to GMRS, I haven't even had time to look at possible mountings the radio or antenna on my 87 Jeep YJ with soft/bikini top. My CBs have built in SWR tuning.
            There are sort of instructions in with the radio, but nothing in with the antenna. Somehow I found out that they have to have the SWRs adjusted, and a CB SWR meter won't work. I really think that information should be right in the product description.

            Simple install

            I found this kit to be extrememly simple to install. Easy plug and play power cord makes the unit easily removable as well. I mounted mine on the dash. The ease of removal comes in handy so I can keep it out of the Sun, as well as the eyes of others in the parking lots!
