Super Heavy-Duty CB Antenna Stud

I bought a typical stud @ 1/2” from another site and it hadn’t lasted a full road trip with a 102” whip, it stripped right out.

This super heavy duty stud, from right channel radio, @ 3/4” really gives some stability for the 102”.

Stud will not tighten enough to create a proper ground the nylon insert turns inside the stud I bought a second stud after the first failure thinking it was a fluke but it wasn’t the second was even worse my radio would not even transmit with anouther radio 10 feet away due to weak ground because it would not tighten to a secure reasonable level when I accurately and honestly made my concern known to Right Channel Radios I was told that I over tightened the studs and snapped the nylon center and refused to refund or accept a return I then decided to disassemble the studs and send photos to RCR proving that the studs infact have not been over torqued and are 100 percent intact and obviously flawed in design they refuse to respond to me or refund me for the flawed equipment I purchased I am not the only person to have these issues with this product look to the end of the reviews and you will see others with this issue if you need a heavy duty mount I suggest you look up Breedlove mounts product #207 or #209 are outstanding they are as strong as a 1/2 inch bolt not as strong as fisher price plastic buyer beware purchase at your own risk or purchase one if you are in need of a good paper weight as that is about all they are good for!!!!!!!

Never received it
