Firestik FireRing CB Coax for Dual Antennas - 18'
$59.95
- Choose this coax if you need a low-profile, weather-resistant setup to install with dual antennas
*Important Note: This cable has been discontinued. If you need a coax cable with horizontal connection we recommend the Dual Firestik terminal cable.
Achieve a low-profile, weather-resistant coax setup that's easy to install with this Firestik FireRing kit for dual antennas! The ring-style connections are perfectly suited for low-profile and tight installations, as they extend horizontally -- not vertically -- from the mounting surface. They're also significantly more weather-resistant than standard threaded PL-259 connections, which are built primarily from rust-prone metal. The FME (For Mobile Equipment) ends allows the PL-259s to unscrew, making installation, drilling and cable routing MUCH simpler, as the cable head diameter is reduced from 3/4" to 3/8". Built from RG-59 coax, the cable is 95% shielded for improved signal performance and uses a stranded center for increased durability. The coax is 18' long and is compatible with the FireRing antenna stud.

This cable kit for dual antennas uses Firestik's popular and respected FireRing cable connectors, high-quality cable and mini-UHF connectors for easy cable routing through tight places.
To make the co-phase harnesses as user-friendly as possible, Firestik needed to make them easy to route. Since it would require a 1" hole to pass the FireRing through, the manufacturer had to come up with a better idea, which led to mini-UHF connectors. Most co-phase harnesses are routed from the radio to the mounts. If you want the convenience of PL-259 connectors, you either had to drill 3/4" holes or have the knowledge and tools to install PL-259 connectors once the cable was routed. This package from Firestik changes all that.
With this assembly, you run each leg of the co-phase harness from each mount to the radio. Because the radio end of these cables terminate with female mini-UHF connectors, they will pass through a 7/16" (11mm) hole. After both leads are at the radio, you simply attach the "Y" connector to the ends and attach it to the radio. No coax to process, no soldering joints to complete and no tools needed. And best of all, you get all of the benefits of the exclusive FireRing connectors.
