As advertised, the antenna kit was very easy to install with minimal effort. A real joy was how easy and effortless it was to adjust the SWR and get the radio on the air and start making contact.
I ordered an antenna kit, the hood mount bracket was for the wrong truck. I was told a proper replacement would be sent and have not seen it. It has been weeks. I would appreciate receiving the correct part so I can use my equipment.
Plan to have 2 to 4 washers ready to place underneath this mount using the existing bolt under the hood of your 2014-2019 Silverado. The washers are just to bring the height up so it sits right. There are holes 90 degrees off the bolt mount to allow for self tappers into the side panel (highly suggested). This appears to be able to mount to passenger side if you prefer… it has the same mounting bolt on that side.
2014-2019 Silverado’s have a hole large enough from side panel door jam to inside under dash, you just have to remove a grommet and run the cable using aluminum coat hangers or something thin with the door open. Easy install.

He bracket fit fairly well it's fairly easy had no issues definitely would recommend
