      Great performing radio, with sharp looks. The SMT( surface mount technology) board is the wave of the future. I look for it to start appearing in more and more radios. RCR has great service and is a true pleasure to do business with.

      Ringing Noise!

      I’ve used at least 20 different radios over the years. This radio exhibits a horrible ringing noise like tinnitus as soon as it is powered up. Volume down all the way still that ringing noise that increases when the bright switch is flipped. It’s too much I’m returning it. Definently don’t reccomend. It’s a shame because the transmit audio is absolutely crystal, I mean crystal clear. Amazing transmit. But there is no way I can deal with the tinnitus sound coming from inside the cb.

      It is definitely a classic!

      This uniden paired with the workman 39 inch antenna is amazing. I'm reaching out 7 to 10 miles with the set-up. People are amazed at how good it sounds. I'm 1000 feet above sea level here on Doe Mountain, Pa and this set up works great!!! Thanks again Eva and Pat.

      High pitched audible noise during transmit.

      This radio seems to be using a switch-mode power supply for the LED back lighting. It generates an awfully annoying noise that becomes even more intrusive when amplified over PA. Increasing the back light intensity also increases the noise. Other than that, works like it's supposed to.
