I really like this little radio. It feels like a quality built device, which I am fond of. The ASC automatic squelch works pretty well, as do all the features of this rig. I bought this to replace a Cobra 29 LX, which I left in another truck, and I can say that I like this over the Cobra. I mounted this in the overhead radio cubby, which was easy and looks sharp. Since it's a tad smaller than the Cobra 29 size radio the cubby was made for, there's a small gap around the sides and top, between the radio and the plastic trim, but it's not really noticeable. I used the bracket that Freightliner already has in there and it mounted up solidly. I used the stock CB power wires and stock coax (which is improved in the later trucks like this '15) and it works fine. I mounted two 3' Firesticks (white, since my truck is white) in the stock 'cab side' antenna mounts, and that was a breeze. I did mount a medium duty spring under each antenna, in case I whack a tree branch or something. The FM radio, if you didn't know, also gets its signal from these antennas, and processes the FM and CB signals through a duplexer. My FM reception is better with this setup, although I generally listen to XM or Pandora. It was easy to tune these down to a 1.5 SWR, and my signal reports, everybody says it sounds good. It's a 4 watt barefoot rig, so it's not going to talk for 20 miles, but it seems to reach out a pretty good ways. Simple install, looks professional, and works.

I would not recommend the president Walker 3 as far as FM is concerned I really can't get any distance from it maybe a quarter of a mile so as far as I'm concerned it's a waste of money I should return the radio
