Got my Cobra GTL148 in 1985 and it is still working strong. Great rig, Love it.

My President finally gave out after many years of usage. Time for a new radio and I choose Cobra, since Cobras and Presidents were similar. This is the second time I have chosen Right Channel Radios for products. Each time I have placed an order with Right Channel Radios the order arrived sooner than expected. This radio is matching all the expectations I had. It has great distance and good clarity from the speaker. I experienced no problems in calibration to the antenna. I will choose a Cobra Radio again in the future. I have been using this radio now for about 1 year, and I constantly drive Interstates & Expressways to and from work several days during the week.

I have had my 148 Cobra since 2001, when I started driving tractors. Since then I have moved it to my Blazer. It helps me to let drivers know to get in front of me as a four wheeler now. The radio is very user friendly. If you are one for not reading manuals, as I am, you can still learn very easily. I have found if you do not get a good antena, the radio can not perform as it is intended. You get a 5 star from me!!!!
