This unique CB mount can be installed in a vehicle's door jamb or tailgate hatch. Once the mount is installed, the 180-degree swivel allows you to adjust the stud to ensure a straight, vertical antenna regardless of the mounting angle! This Firestik mount was designed for vans, pickup trucks and SUVs, but is versatile enough to mount on any vehicle with a door. Made from rust-resistant stainless steel and recommended for antennas up to 4' tall. The lug stud requires a terminal or ring-style CB coax.

These Firestik mounts were specifically designed to enable antenna installation on vehicles where other mounts might not work. The primary goal was to offer a mount that could attach to the inner door jamb, such as the jamb found on the rear or side door of a cargo van. The mounting screws are on the inner edge of the jamb, eliminating visible holes in the vehicle. Like many other Firestik mounts, the versatility of these mounts go well beyond their targeted use. For antennas up to 4' tall.

Bracket parts and mounting hardware are made of stainless steel for years of trouble-free use. The bracket is 1.5" (38mm) wide and has a 2" (50mm) reach for mounting inside the door jamb. Overall, the mount is 4.2" (105mm) long. In order to compensate for the door jamb angles, the stud bracket will swivel a full 180 degrees, 90 in each direction. This feature lets you mount the antenna on the left or right side of the vehicle.

Great mount for my 2013 Rogue SV Hatch

This mount worked excellent for my 2013 Rogue SV. I have a 3' Firestik and was looking for a mount for my back hatch (driver side), and be able to rotate the antenna downward enough so that it was level with my car roof antenna, thus allowing me to get in/out of the garage without having to remove the Firestik each time.

This worked PERFECTLY! Screw mounts (4) were solid and the install was easy. I took it for a ride on the highway - no wind noise and very little sway with the antenna (I have a spring base on it also). I was concerned that the antenna might flail around and whack the side of the Rouge, but it hardly moves at 65 mph.

(I just lost the Allen key as I was cleaning up, so I'm freaking out at the moment, but I'm sure it' will turn up.) A Great Mount! (Posted on April 21, 2013)

With some minor cutting of the liner and bodywork drilling, I was able to mount it up perfectly to the top right corner of my 2nd Gen Tacoma tailgate jamb. The bolt-through mount provides a great grounding connection and clean, hardware-hidden installation. I applied some silicone sealant between the mount and bodywork to deaden vibration, and it works great. The mount does flex some, but returns to shape. I also mounted the 4' Firestik on a medium spring.

My only complain is that it does not come with fasteners. I used a self-tapping stainless sheet metal screws instead. (Posted on December 18, 2012)

Very versatile & easy to install!

I used this mount to mount my antenna in the rear hatch of my 4Runner. Super easy to install and works great. I love the adjustability of this mount allowing me to install it on either side of the vehicle.
