My family caravans and we were using the FRS radios and we all got tired of having to change the batteries and not be able to talk to each other while even seeing each other. The solution was to get the Uniden Pro510XL. Great range and clarity, and don't have to worry about changing the batteries.Overall Rating

I really don't have anything bad to say about the radio. It's small and compact, which is great in a small Toyota like mine. It was extremely easy to install. The package that I bought saved me a ton of money and was really convenient in the sense that I didn't have to go make 3 or 4 different orders; it was all there. I don't use it on the freeway too much so I can't really comment on its performance with long range transmitting. However, I do use it when I go 4wheeling and it works great. The only thing I would suggest is that you include a longer coax cable with the package. I found myself running to radio shack to buy a longer one, which isn't a big deal, but it would just be nice to not have to do that. Over all I would rate my CB radio a 5.Overall Rating
