Ideal for off-roading, overlanding or installing in your side-by-side, The Midland MXT575 MicroMobile® GMRS two-way radio offers a lot of power in a small footprint. All the radio controls are integrated into the microphone, so you can stash away the radio's control box under a seat or next to a console and not sacrifice your limited cab space. The MXT575 broadcasts a maximum of 50 watts of power, which is the most allowed by law, and has both narrow and wide band capability so you can control the reach of your transmissions. This radio is compatible with all other FRS & GMRS radios, but does require a GMRS license for legal use.

Great radio, quick setup - and easy to use

The MXT575 comes as a kit complete with a magnetic mount antenna. While I plan to try a higher gain antenna in future with a permanent installation, I was able to quickly install this radio the day before before leaving on a week long group off-road trip. I placed the mag mount on the roof and closed the door on the thin antenna cable. It worked flawlessly and I was told by others in the group that my transmissions were loud and clear the entire time. I had no time to get into all the features but the radio is intuitive and easy to operate.

Powerful gmrs mobile

Great kit for plug and play. Only extra I did was to add an extention cat 5 through the center console to a finished port. Entire system is hidden inside the dash with the mic easily disconnected for stowing away when not in use. Love it.
