The K40 antenna features an easy twist-off base that allows you to remove the 58" antenna in seconds without tools when you need low vehicle clearance. The Midland radio is a compact all-in-one unit that takes up almost no room in the vehicle. It can be used in the vehicle with the permanent K40 antenna, or in the field with a small ducky antenna.
Radio:	The Midland 75-822 is an all-in-one CB unit that contains the microphone and radio in a single device! This is ideal for smaller vehicles or passenger cars, as the device takes up little space and can be hung anywhere in the vehicle. Installation is a snap and requires no drilling or wiring. Just plug in the cigarette adapter, attach the antenna coax to the radio's car adapter and you're ready to talk! This CB can be used as a permanent or mobile CB radio. Use it in your vehicle with the included cigarette adapter and permanently installed CB antenna. Been using this radio setup for about a month now and it has performed exactly as needed. All transmissions are clean and clear and the compact setup is perfect for my Sedan. The price is very fair for this high-quality equipment. (Posted on November 17, 2012)

Great little unit.

I've had the 75-822 for a few months now and I haven't had any problems with it. It's used mainly in my car with a 54" whip. Range is good and from what I can tell the transmission clarity is acceptable. I've used it as a handheld a couple of times and it performed as well as one can expect. I like the option to use regular AAs or rechargeable ones.

Over all it's a good unit for a good price. (Posted on May 15, 2012)
