The K40 CB antenna is well built, offers strong performance and is the most versatile antenna we sell! Our magnet mount version is simply the standard K40 antenna bundled with the magnet mount adapter. The 120-lb. pull K40 magnet is incredibly strong and won't come off at highway speeds. Removing the magnet adapter gives you the freedom to mount this antenna on a trunk lip or roof. Its twist-to-remove feature allows the antenna to separate at the base, which is incredibly convenient when entering low-clearance areas or for temporary antenna storage. Not only is the K40 versatile, but it also performs extremely well.

This magnet mount antenna installs more easily and performs better than similar antennas. Unlike other antennas, the K40 antenna can be installed using the included magnetic mount accessory, the standard trunk lip or even as a permanently mounted rooftop antenna! So, if you decide to change the installation type after purchase, not a problem -- this antenna will allow you to do all three!

I'm currently in the Military and growing up with my dad being a truck driver I have always had one since I was 14. I've always been fond of the Firestiks until recently getting stationed in Southern California where parking a lifted truck is a nightmare! What parking garages I am able to fit it I am constantly having to get out and remove the antenna so its obvious now why the K40 got my attention but now after using it and driving to and from Arkansas with it I couldn't be happier with it. For its signal strength, quick disconnect, even the removable connector on the coax made routing the wire a breeze. I would highly recommend this antenna and Right Channel Radios for recommending it to me, fast friendly technical support and vast knowledge here! (Written 12/16/2011) (Posted on February 21, 2012)
