Patterned after the top-selling K40 Baseload CB antenna, the K30 is ideal for the CB user who wants maximum performance from the antenna, but in a smaller, more versatile design. Computer designed and made in the USA, the K30 antenna features a 14-gauge coil wire for maximum power handling, 15' of pre-wired RG-58, 95% shielded coax cable with pre-terminated connectors, and a 35" whip for low clearances. A heavy-duty 10-ounce magnetic base is strong enough to stay put on any vehicle, even at high speeds, and makes mounting and removing effortless. The K30 is perfect for multicar families or use on leased or rented vehicles.

Great Antenna!

Great antenna. I have it connected to my recently purchased Uniden PC78 Elite. Radio check at 15 miles was clear and strong pushing 40. Could not be any more pleased than I am, this antenna will give me peace of mind when I'm out and about out of cell range.

Strong Magnet

I purchased a K-30 magnet mount antenna to replace an older model antenna that had lost its "stick". Even if you gently hit a tree branch, it would fall off. The K-30 magnet grips like a vise. I am very pleased that it will stay attached to my van for many years to come! Give it a "5" rating.

About a year ago I wanted to put a small antenna on our commuter car (also my wife’s main vehicle). To go along with this setup I wanted a small antenna that would still give me fair results but wouldn’t be very conspicuous. My choice was the K30 antenna manufactured by the K40 Corporation.

The first thing I noticed during use was that although the local signals were the same loudness as when receiving with my other vehicle the static level was very low with this antenna. This could be because the antenna was mounted near the rear of the vehicle while on my other car the antenna is mounted closer to the engine, but I was still very impressed with the lack of static noise. The receive was very good and I had no trouble hearing any of the locals located anywhere from 5-25 miles away. I continued to use this same setup for many months on the commuter car, taking the antenna and radio out every weekend and putting it back in during the week. I always had excellent results.

Overall this is a small magnetic antenna that has excellent quality and better performance than I would have expected from an antenna of its size. It’s not going to beat a Wilson 1000 or a 102” SS whip, but for temporary installs or for vehicles where the other antennas won’t work it’s an excellent alternative.
