The mount requires no drilling and installation is fast and simple; the mount bolts onto the existing rear door hinge. Installing a CB antenna on your FJ couldn't get easier!

Important Considerations: We recommend using the Fire-Stik FireRing coax cable with this mount as it's smaller profile works best in the confined underside of the mount. Additionally, the mount is powder coated, which prevents the mount from grounding. You'll need to scrape off some of the powder coating where the mount touches both the frame and the antenna stud in order to achieve a proper ground for your antenna. Failure to do this will prevent your CB antenna from functioning properly and will likely result in high SWR. This is a well made, must have mount for all FJ owners. It is very easy to install and looks great. I recommend it highly.

The Bandi Mount is a must have for the Toyota FJ Cruiser! It took me 20 minutes to install, but that's because I was being careful not to scratch the paint. It's a tight fit when installing (all you need is a wrench), but it is very secure and can hold a lot of weight if you want a bigger/heavier antenna and it won't move at all. It really makes the FJ look great. I installed a four foot Firestik on it and it's awesome!!! It's the best improvement you can make to your FJ (for looks) and it's cheap compared to other options. We have two FJ's, one is 2WD Voodoo Blue and the other is a 4WD Sandstorm. I put this on the Sandstorm to give it an old school look.

I love my Bandi mount. The install was quick and easy. It's the perfect place add an antennae on an FJ. Congrats to Bandi for the invention.
