When I got this cable, it seemed very good and well built. I managed to run this through my car - FJ Cruiser - without any problems. When mounting my CB, I accidentally pulled the whole adapter off, (full size and the part that stays on the cable). After I fixed it with electrical tape, the cable worked perfectly and I really liked it. I would definitely recommend this cable! (Posted on February 7, 2013)Overall Rating

So Far, So Good
Review by Mike -
Built a new antenna mount and needed the added clearance the Firering provides. I did not try to separate the FME connector since it was not required to do so for my installation, but at the time of purchase, I wasn't sure of that. So, I chose this cable. I read the reviews and I was careful in tightening down the bolt and stud so as not to damage the Firering end. Overall I'm pleased with the cable so far. Time will tell how good it really is.
