The Cobra 75 is our most popular compact CB and the top choice for off-road vehicle owners! All radio components are built in to the compact 3”x4” handset, making this an ideal choice when space or mounting options are limited. Despite being incredibly small, it still manages to pack a ton of features, including a backlit display, active channel scanning and NOAA weather alerts. All wiring is centralized in a small control box that can be mounted out of the way for a clean and professional installation. The radio can be quickly disconnected from the control box and, with the purchase of a second control box, used in a second vehicle.

If you need a CB in your vehicle, but don't have the room for a more traditional-sized CB unit, this is the model for you. The Cobra 75 WX ST is an all-in-one unit that contains the entire CB radio (microphone, controls, speaker, display) in the handset. As the unit can be removed from the mounting box, a single Cobra 75 WX ST handset can be used in multiple vehicles simply by purchasing additional Cobra 75 WX ST remote mount boxes. This also allows the mounting box and subsequent wiring to be tucked out of sight for an extremely clean and professional installation. If the radio is in a Jeep or other unlocked vehicle, it can be easily unscrewed from the mounting box for safe storage.

This radio is flawless! I installed it in 2013 Jeep Rubicon in less than an hour. The spare tire mount and Firestik 4ft antenna was simple to install. The control box was mounted under driver's seat and power was provided by positive terminal on battery. I added some 12 gauge wire to reach control box and ran through firewall. The external speaker is also a great feature. I mounted the speaker next to driver's side door. As soon as I turned on the unit, I was getting reception. I used the SWR meter to make adjustments and everything was already tuned. Little more than other CB radio but worth the extra money for full package. Compact design is great for saving space! Since the Lincoln MKS has a consul that runs from the dash to the rear seat, a normal CB radio could not be used. I used the connection supplied by the Cobra 75 WX ST & mounted the radio on a hanger on the dash with the connection under my seat. (Posted on April 26, 2013)

I had ordered a regular CB radio but changed my mind after I received it. I was able to return it for a refund and ordered the Cobra 75 WX ST instead. It took a little time to install it out of sight. Nice clean install! I like the ability to scan the channels. Very good customer service and support on their web site! (Posted on February 2, 2013)

Nice Little Unit

It is exactly as advertised. Works well. I liked the way it is; an easy addition to vehicles with driving areas with limited space. A very nice looking unit. If I were to change one thing, it would be the "on-off" via the volume control; It is hard to do with the unit in the cradle. Other than that, it is intuitive and simple to use.
