I got my 148 GTL from a friend who had it for 25 yrs. I cleaned it up and it works great. I coupled it to a Wilson 5000 antenna that I got from Right Channel Radios and it is able to transmit long distances. Awesome reception! (Posted on January 16, 2013)

Exactly what I expected

I had this product installed to my 2012 class A coach. I used the Firestik antenna to complete the system. The radio made me feel Cobra is the way to go as far as mobile radio's go. I bought two of them, one for my business partners coach and one for mine. We just go back from a business trip to Montana and with no service from our cell phones, the radio's really came in handy. We turned up the squelch and it was as we were the only two on the radio. Love this product, in fact I just order to hand held portable Cobra's as well. Thanks Right Channel Radios! Good Old Radio

I'am from Germany, 50 years old ,CB-operator since 1977. I got my CB-radio from a flee market for only 5 (five) euros. After cleaning it worked very fine since two months. I hope also the next
