Compatible with:	All fiberglass and center-loaded antennas that use a standard 3/8" x 24 threaded base and are up to 4' in length. Screw-on stud requires a PL-259 style CB coax.
Installation Notes:	Designed to mount to a hood or trunk channel. The riser portion of the bracket will accommodate channels up to 2" (50mm) deep. Overall, the bracket is 4" (100mm) tall and 2" (50mm) wide. The mount will bolt to either the bottom or side of the hood channel. Once the mount is installed, you can adjust the angle of the antenna using the mount swivel.

Details

Workman's Universal CB Antenna Mounts were specifically designed for hood, trunk and hatchback applications. However, the versatility of these mounts allow you to mount it in a variety of ways. All bracket parts are made of stainless steel, and there won't be any visible mounting holes, because the mount is located on the inside channel of your hood, trunk or hatchback. These mounts are fully adjustable to compensate for sloping angles, such as those common on mini-van hoods and/or hatchback doors. Mounts have a full 180 degrees of adjustment and may be mounted on either the left or right side of the vehicle. For use with antennas up to 4' in length. The riser portion of the bracket will accommodate channels up to 2" (50mm) deep. Overall, the bracket is 4" (100mm) tall and 2" (50mm) wide.

Not exactly what I need

I tried to use this on my 2011 Dodge 2500, but where the hood meets fender, the channel isn't deep enough & there aren't any factory bolt close to the edge of the hood to install the mount off of. I tried to use self taping screws, but my 4' firestik is too heavy & the screws worked themselves loose. The mount itself is as described, just didn't work for my application. (Posted on May 31, 2012)

Versatile and high quality

I used this mount in the rear hatch area on my 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser. The mount works and fits perfectly, is plenty strong once installed. It's holding up well with a Wilson 4' antenna mounted.
