It's a mystery

For a newbie like me getting this antenna with 0 instructions was a pain. I thought to adjust the SWR I had to loosen the Allen bolt and raise or lower the antenna. No, wrong. I finally found a video on U tube describing the adjustment Rings. Now my SWR is 1.1

Great antenna

I wanted an antenna that was not fiberglass. And since I wanted it mounted on my hood of my jeep and not the traditional place of the spare tire. I wanted a metal one so it wasn't so apparent. I put it on and put my swr meter on and didn't have to tune it much and got 1.1 on channel 1 and 1.2 on channel 40 barely moved on channel 20. Couldn't ask for anything more.
