Put that drill down. This easy install requires no drilling, mounts to your hood and is designed specifically for 2010 and newer GMC/Chevy trucks, Avalanches, Tahoes, Suburbans, and will fit the Toyota Tacoma. Simply attach the mount to existing holes in the driver's side of the hood frame, up top near the windshield. Recommended for antennas up to 4' tall and for drivers that hate to take a drill to their beloved vehicle.

*3rd Generation Chevy trucks (2014-2019) require a few washers under the mount to get the proper clearance for the coax cable. We recommend the FireRing cable for this installation.

Silverado maden run !

First I want to 5 Star the RIght Channel Radio staff. Excellent communication email and phone. Answered all my questions in a timely manner. And support videos were really helpful. Because of my tonneau cover I decided to go hood mount. Bracket is well engineered and does have all the clearance between hood and fender lip it can get. But it’s close to rubbing, but it doesn’t. I went for the 4 foot Firestick, which is max height rated for the bracket. Plus HD spring and heavy duty quick disconnect. The bracket does have a tad bit of flex. I drove the truck 500 miles yesterday at 75 MPH. I did notice very slight bracket twist. But flex of spring and antenna itself seems to be great protection. I love the distance the 4 foot Firestick got out. The extra foot over a 3 foot makes a difference, I used this radio with a 3 foot bed mount in a F-350. I’m happy!

Good Alternative to Drilling

Easy to install. Make sure to get Fire stick Fire Ring Cable, no room for a strait hookup and no room for a 90 degree adapter.

A good recommendation - I don't have a Chevy!

I used the chat function on the website to ask for help figuring out how to mount an antenna on my Honda Pilot. The person I was talking with asked for some pictures of the hood line and depth. Seeing the pictures, they recommended this mount, and it works perfectly. I'm running a 4 foot Firefly without issues.
