Most microphones have a fragile plastic hanger button on the back that commonly breaks. Now you have a source to get a quality replacement! This Firestik microphone button is made of lightweight aluminum and is finished with a black anodize coating. The button comes with a screw, nut and washer for mounting. In order to make the part as universal as possible, we left the screw a little long for some installations. However, it can be cut flush with the nut face after installation. This part is sized to fit with any of the common stamped hanger plates.

The replacement of the broken microphone lug

The replacement lug
for the back of the microphone was easy and it's only took me about 20 minutes to replace the broken lug that was on the microphone .I would highly recommend replacing the lug on the back of your microphone with this metal lug.

Was not impressed.

The design could be better. The screw does not completely recess flush with the button, and although there is a thinner side, the thicker side is what is supposed to slide into the receiver, which is Very tight. In addition to the fact that the screw doesn't recess, it's very difficult to get the mic into the receiver, and almost impossible to get it out if you do get it in. I wouldn't recommend this product.
