I purchased this product for my son along with a total cb radio package. One item I ordered didnt fit well with the others so Right Channel notified me and selected the appropriate item that would fit.
All items were easy to install and my son is just delighted with the whole package.
Your customer service is some of the best I've seen and would recommend this company to anyone!

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. He recently installed it on his truck and it was a huge success. He is very excited to have the new antenna.

I installed this antenna with a home made mount on the rear tire carrier on my Jeep TJ. The adjustment was real easy due to the steel rod that adjusts with a set screw. If I were to move this to a different vehicle I could readjust it. It's very flexible and holding up well.

The antenna was more than I expected, the quality and ease of install.
Purchasing from RCR made even better, the follow up, the attention to detail, the genuine care.
I will recommend this site and products to everyone in our club
Thanks

I recently purchased this antenna on recommendation from the sales reps here at rightchannelradios.com and am very happy with the choice. Originally I was set on a Firestik II as I've used them in the past, but after getting my hands on this Silver Load FGT I'm very impressed. The antenna feels very sturdy, yet is flexible enough to bend around tree branches and parking garage structures with ease. The protective coating on the cable seems very durable and should withstand a fair amount of abuse; I dropped the antenna on the concrete during installation it and didn't even scuff it. The included instructions are very simple and easy to follow and make tuning the tip a breeze. Once tuned I have a near perfect SWR reading and receive the local weather channels load and clear. Two nice features are the included allen for adjusting the tip, and the impedance matching lead (which I didn't need to use, but would come in handy if you were having issues getting a good SWR reading). I'm a Wilson convert for life.

Third time’s a charm. This antenna was bought for my Jeep TJ. I mounted it to my rear driver side stainless steel taillight CB mount. I use a Hustler stainless antenna mount spring in between the antenna mount and antenna. This antenna is quite heavy compared to my older Firestik Firefly and Francis antennas. The tunable tip is a nice solid piece of stainless steel rod that is easily adjustable. I like the rubber cap that goes over the tip. I would regularly snap off the “unprotected” tip on my Francis antenna while wheeling in the woods. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get and SWR below 2.0 on my older Firestik Firefly antenna. However with this Wilson antenna, I was able to get an SWR or 1.2 on Channel 1 and 1.6 on Channel 40 with the rubber cap on. Being that I mostly use the lower channels, those readings were acceptable for me.

As other online reviewers have noted, this is definitely a solid, well built antenna that can handle a lot of abuse and get good SWR readings.
