Nicely designed antenna, flex's great but tunes poor. More suited for
offroading, not good for distance. Couldn't tune it below 2, where my
Firestik tunes 1.2. Buyer beware. Rightchannelradio's offered me a refund on
this antenna, but I opted to keep it for off-road use. I have an unspring
Firestik that I use while on the road.

Great antenna, flexes nicely on the trails with low hanging branches, and its stiff enough that it only bows a little bit going down the highway. Would definitely buy again. The only weakness as far as I am concerned, is using the tiny allen wrench to tune it. Wish it had a thumb wheel or something to make it easier.

2 of these antennas broke in in month. They are manufactured poorly. Both antennas broke at the tip of the antenna where the tunable tip would slide up and down in. Both also broke while simply tuning the antenna and sliding the rubber cap on and off. Neither of the antennas were easy to tune. I even had to cut the actual antenna to tune it. I thought the idea of a tunable tip was so you wouldn't have to cut the antenna. I have used Firestick in the past and will go back to Firestick.

Without question, a well-engineered product that is the most flexible antenna that I've ever seen. Also without question, I was unable to tune either the 3' or the 4' below 2.5 on any channels--where the exact mount and cable both the FireFly by FireStik and a 3' Flex K40 tuned within 5 minutes. I am at a loss as I am certain that many of these are sold every day--it just did not work with the Jeep hood mount and FireStik FireRing cable. I really wish I could have made it work.

I've got the 3' and think its a great antenna. Send and receive performance is very good. Easy to tune with adjustable tip. Very flexible so branches and low garage doors are not a problem, yet stiff enough that it only has a little bow at 70mph. Looks great in black.
