I purchased the jeep and off road package that came with this antenna. The antenna tuned really nice and it is a great antenna for off-roading due to its flexibility. This is a great antenna.

I purchased the 4’ Wilson Flex for a 06 TJ Jeep Wrangler. I use a driver side behind the Tail Light mount.
SWR were so low after the install I almost did not even waste my time tuning it.
However, I did and it’s a walking, talking, son of a gun now buddy!
It is a great antenna. I would recommend and purchase again.

I recently purchased a replacement antenna for my GMC 3500 Sierra Pick up mounted Citizens Band radio. It is a replacement because the antenna being replaced (a fiberglass antenna) would not stand up to the rigors of a drive-through vehicle wash. I knew this, but my grandson, who drove the truck through a local carwash that could handle a "dually" didn't realize that the antenna would suffer in the deal.
Right Channel supplied me with a 4ft., 200 watt Flex antenna Model #FLEX-4 BK. The antenna was delivered just as promised and amazingly, it had been packed for shipment in such a manner that it made the trip from Montana to North Carolina without UPS being able to damage it at all. (Terrific packaging)
When installed, the antenna performed admirably. We tuned the standing wave for optimum transmission and reception and it works wonderfully. I'm not familiar enough with CB antennas to give the unit a fair evaluation, but for me, I don't know what could be better.
I'm just one of those "country boys" from North Carolina who enjoys his truck and all the accessories that go with it. When it works well, I'm a happy man and when it doesn't work as I expect, I set about to fix it or get it fixed.
In this case, the new antenna solved my problem; the antenna looks like it belongs on the back bumper, so I go merrily along my way.
Of course, when including the shipping charges, the total cost was a bit much, but I learned years ago that you usually get what you pay for, especially when a supplier such as Right Channel Radios is in the picture.
Thank you for your assistance.

I do not recommend this antenna for Jeep Wranglers, it has very high SWR readings. Switch to FireStik, works 10 times better. Wilson FLEX antenna is junk.

I ordered a 3' Wilson Flex with a Cobra 18 WX CB Radio. Order processing was
very quick. I had also called previously to tech support to ask some
questions on how I was going to do my setup and even though I wasn't a
customer yet they took the time to answer all my questions. I installed this
cb radio in a 96 4Runner and it fit in the DIN slot below my stereo. I
mounted the antenna using the deep hood channel mount with the Firestik
FireRing coax. The whole setup looks super clean. I am using the radio for
4-wheeling and the occasional road trip. Nice and clear signal out of the
box on a 4-wheeling run that weekend. I would highly recommend Right Channel
Radios to anybody.

Nicely designed antenna, flex's great but tunes poor. More suited for
offroading, not good for distance. Couldn't tune it below 2, where my
Firestik tunes 1.2. Buyer beware. Rightchannelradio's offered me a refund on
this antenna, but I opted to keep it for off-road use. I have an unspring
Firestik that I use while on the road.
