Just wanted to add I bought my wilson 1000 mag mount antenna after already owning a wilson 5000 antenna. Since my radio was a connex 3300hp without an amp I felt the 1000 would be more than enough. After running it for a couple weeks now, it has turned out to be seemingly as good as the 5000 at least with my current setup. I did have to order the longer whip antenna 66" since I couldn't get the SWR below 1.5 with the stock 62" antenna. I do feel the radio gets out as far and receives as well as with the 5000. Coming from Louisville,KY last week, I could hear several people in the daytime out 15 miles and was talking 10 miles easily in the daytime. I know the conditions were good and feel this is a great setup for any one looking for a magnet mount antenna even running an amp up to around 500 watts. I would definitely buy another and won't hesitate to use Right Channel Radios again. They had super fast shipping and great follow up. Great job!

This antenna is awesome. I'm able to get out a lot further and hear folks as far as 10 miles with this antenna. I give it 5 stars for the fact it's easy to install and it's basicly tuned for a car. You just have to do some minor tunning to get it set-up properly to your car.

It is the best antenna I have ever owned i haved talked to people 15 miles away with it on my cobra 25 LTD classic and pick up people out of state with it. Again a really great strong cb antenna. 5 STARS!

First of all, I would like to thank the staff at Right Channel Radios for their 5 star service, and continued interest in my two way radio experience. I ordered a Wilson 1000 magnetic mount antenna from RCR's. It arrived without delay, and the packaging was perfect for the almost 5' antenna. After the installation of a Cobra radio, that I had in my stack of radios, I was experiencing some RF problems that were solved by their experienced staff.

The Wilson 1000 Magnetic mount antenna works better than advertised. It has a very strong magnet that holds securely to any flat metal surface.
It makes any little radio sound good, and you won't be an alligator station either. Installed on a 2008 Ford F250 4X4 crew cab.
