Uniden Pro510XL Car Kit

This was a GREAT BUY! I plugged everything in, used velcro to hold up my radio where I wanted to mount it, turned it on and asked "is there anyone out there?" And sure enough I got a good 5 replies. Then I asked who could hear me and one after another they all told me that I was comming in loud and clear and it was probably 7 people, one after another telling me they could go crazy!

Must be geting at least 6-mile range. The radio is also very nice and very crisp when you turn the channel knob as are the rest of the knobs. Overall, this is the ideal setup for a car in my opinion. Only con was the day after I ordered my stuff, their website was down and I thought I might have gotten scammed but sure enough, 2 days later I received my radio and antenna!

My friend has one of these and wow. Easy to mount the antenna, and easy to install the radio. He has had it for about 3 weeks now and i have been able to make contact with him and easily understand him from 2 miles away. After blowing out a fuse trying to get the P12XX cigarette adapter hooked up he went to radio shack and purchased more fuses and a better cigarette adapter plug and hasn't blown a fuse since.
