I will rate this product a 3 because it was not the radio I thought I was getting. The radio is OK and it's new, but I purchased the unit because of one of the features...WX; the radio now also picks up a FM frequency as well as other channels or bands like it's supposed to do; so I hope there is a better unit or product that separates or isolates the frequencies or channels or bands on the market.

Great radio. The front speaker is awesome for mounting it in your dash. Easy to use; it's just a great "no frills" radio. Does everything I want without having to pay for a bunch of extra stuff I'll never need. About the only time I use it is off-roading for trail communication, and on long drives to and from the trails, and it has worked great for me. Only complaint is that the knobs aren't backlit, so fine tuning the rf gain and squelch is a little tricky in the dark.

This is a great. A compact radio (speaker in front) for installation in small spaces.
I had the radio for only a short time and it has done the job. The radio's strengths include the size and the front speaker.
