I bought the NGP 14" Fold-Down Kit - Firestik CB Antenna Kit for my motorcycle. I wanted something small, that I could fit on the front of the fairing on my BMW R1200RT. Having dealt with taller antennas on the rear of my bikes for years, I just wanted something small, clean and out of the way of passengers. The 14" NGP was a perfect fit.

Pros: Small, NGP. Easy installation. SWR Match already 1.2:1 - no adjustment necessary. Lower mounting solution on a bike is always a challenge with range. Testing/using the antenna under normal riding conditions seems to indicate slightly better range on the existing system this antenna replaced.

Cons: Cable length forces some bundling under the fairing. However, the 2 feet of cable actually needed would be hard to match. It's a con in this installation, but not unexpected and it was handled just fine.

How I used the product: It's connected to a J&M CB unit on a BMW R1200RT motorcycle and is mounted on the right front of the fairing.

Rating: An easy 5 out of 5. Works great and was reasonable in cost. I'll buy another if I need one.

I am satisfied with the CB antenna I purchased. I installed it on our motorhome. We are on the road and the purchase arrived in a timely manner. I would give my purchase a 4 Rating.

This antenna is great, I mounted it on the roof of my Toyota Tacoma and i like the way it works and looks. It's just the perfect size to not look out of place. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this antenna to those who want something functional yet sleek and great looking....

This is the best looking CB antenna out there. We mounted it on our police crown victoria and it looks and works great. This is the best price for this antenna model as well. A+ Product!
