I purchased the Uniden 520 Jeep TJ kit with passenger side antenna mount. Very easy installation. Everything I needed for the install was in the kit. I just completed a Toysfortots 4x4 run in Missouri and could not have been happier with the results. CB was extremely crisp and clear and came in very handy on the trail rides. I would definitely rate this kit a 5 and have told friends of mine that off-road about Right Channel and how happy I am not only with the prices but with customer service. I ordered the Jeep Off Road Kit with the Uniden 510 and opted for the Teraflex antenna mount for the TJ. The order was placed on a Sunday, shipped on Monday and arrived on Thursday.

This is a complete kit, and with the included SWR meter, I was able to get everything installed and get the antenna tuned.

You could order the same equipment elsewhere, but Right Channel has it all bundled in a well priced kit. I will definitely use them again and I'll be recommending them to others that are looking to purchase a CB or accessories.

Pros: Outstanding customer service, fast shipping. Installation and setup was well explained and completed in less than one hour. The initial tuning for a low SWR was accomplished with no antenna length adjustment. I highly recommend using Right Channel Radios for all of your CB needs.

Usage: I have yet to use this radio long term. I have only used it when testing the setup. Future usage will be off-road to talk with fellow Jeepers.

I am very pleased with the Cb I bought. It was the Uniden 4 x 4 package. It was easy to install in my truck. I get great range. Even at 8 to 10 miles I was getting and giving good quality sound. I will be ordering from Right Channel Radios again for my other truck.

2004 Jeep TJ Rocky Mountain Edition

My only complaint was the Wrangler hood mount. Although the mount does look good and is easy to install, if you put the antenna anywhere near hood of the Jeep you just pick up noise from the engine. The radio's noise will match the revs of your engine and will drive you nuts, as well as render the radio useless while the engines running.

SWR meter is on the verge of death, its quite cheap and well.... you have to hold it upside down to get a reading. Worked great for the first few weeks, but after having to remount my antenna, it's not doing so good. Luckily remount was easy due to the fact I found a nifty shelf bracket that fits my antenna perfectly. I ended up mounting it to spare tire carrier.

At least, according to my ailing SWR meter I have reading right around 1.2 for channels 1 through 40, which is an improvement over the hood mount which the best reading I could get was around 1.4 to 1.8.

Good kit overall, Great wilson flex antenna, great little radio. Basically the kit delivers on what it promises...as long as you make sure not to order the wrangler hood mount. As for the SWR meter it still works albeit intermittently. If you buy this kit you will be happy and that's pretty good. If it wasn't for the swr meter it would have gotten an easy 4 stars.

My product was great! couldn't be happier with it, the price was right and everything functions great. i purchased the jeep offroad cb kit but upgraded the uniden 510 to a 520 so i could set up a pa system. the wilson antenna is great, the radio work perfect and is real durable, pa horn works great, and so does antenna mount and coax. service is also A++. quick shipping. i use everything on my jeep wrangler tj for highway and offroad use with some buddies. overall 5 out of 5 stars for everything without a doubt.
