I am very happy with the antenna; but why, oh why, oh why don't you tell people that you have to have sheet metal ground when you're putting the antenna in above ground attic? You need at least 9 sq.ft. of sheet metal. It would save a lot of people like me a lot of aggrevation. It is working great and I am very impressed with it. I would recommend it to anyone who is not permitted an outside antenna.

I have had this antenna for only a week, but I'm so impressed with this product and would recommend this to anyone who wants a high performance indoor antenna.
This antenna out-performs any outside antenna I've ever owned with an SWR of 1.2:1. That is impressive! The only alteration I made was an additional ground(spiderweb) pattern on the radials which is connected to the base(ground) of the antenna, as wellas minimal tuning of the tip. 5 stars!

Setting up the antenna was a snap. Trying to get it to work in an attic was allot of work and expense. I read and watched the video and the setup might work outside on top of allot of metal and a great ground. I went to the firestick site and the section on the installation in an attic and they said you needed at least nine square feet of metal and a good ground. I used four(2x2) 24 guage sheets of steel and 10 gage wire to ground. With two sheets the best SWR was 2.5. With three sheets 1.4-1.5. Four sheets avg 1.25. Its working fine now.
