The 3' Firestick antenna is outstanding. On a scale of 1-5 it's definitely a 5.
Pros: It worked first time out of the box (tuning is required), reception and transmission on my Cobra is excellent. This antenna is attached to a custom built mount using a heavy duty spring on my 2006 Frontier. We do a lot of back-country driving and I found no problems.
Cons: I did not find any.

Great antenna for highway use. I had it hooked up to my Uniden and had a range of around 50 miles! I had the 4ft version and withstood some good wacks until it met a pine tree that covered it from top to bottom and folded it over.
For off-road use, I would be careful and not to put it on a lifted vehicle. The FSII is better for that since it's thicker, but on the road, the Firefly served me well!

An excellent antenna, very simple to tune, thus far has survived all that the Jeep could throw at it. Not as flexible as some, but, by far the easiest to tune that I have encountered. I'd purchase another with no hesitation.
