$49.95

I used this radio for 3 years before replacing it with a Cobra 29. It's a good basic CB without many bells and whistles. It transmited and received clear and gave me the same range as my new 29. The price is right too. It's compact size is a plus for installing into tight spaces. I would buy another one if the situation warranted.

I owned this radio radio for 3 years before upgrading to the cobra 29. This radio doesn't have all the bells and whistles as other radios but transmits and receives just fine. This radio is so easy to setup.

I hooked up the power, put the antenna on, hooked up the antenna to an external swr meter, checked the swr and tuned the antenna, then finally hooked up the antenna to the radio.

Range hooked up to Wilson Little Wil antenna is 2 miles.

If you're looking for an inexpensive radio without all the bells and whistles, or are looking for a great price, this is the radio for you.

RCR will get some free advertisement from me. I'll let everyone know about RCR. No complaints. I bought the cobra 19 DX IV with the tune and peak. Probably didn't need the tune and peak but got it anyway.

This is a great little radio. It transmits great, and Cobra has always made great quality.

It fits perfectly into a little lower center console spot on my Mitsubishi Outlander, (small crossover SUV with very little room to install CB's) and has been easy to use. I paired it with a little wil for a great small combo that was easy and compact.

If you need a small and easy to use radio, I recommend this over the Uniden Pro510XL for the RF gain, PA capability, and the quick button give channel 9 and 19! All nice features for the same price point. I would also compare and consider a Uniden Pro520XL, all the same features as this Cobra, but the addition of the ANL switch on the Uniden to block ignition noise might be worth the extra money if you use the radio a bit more to get a little more distance to your listening, and not have to turn your squelch up as much.

This is a great, compact radio for installation in small spaces. I installed this radio in my Jeep Wrangler, where space is a premium! There are not a lot of whistels and bells with this one, but it does provide a basic CB radio with PA capabilities. No weather radio in this one.

I was able to install and tune this radio within a half day. Using a Firestik II tunable antenna mounted to my spare tire carrier, I was able to get an SWR reading UNDER 1.5 on all channels (1.1 on Channel 19)!!!

Impressive radio in compact package for those needing a basic radio to communicate on the trail with other drivers. I would not recommend for extended on-highway use.
