I had high SWR reading on channel 1 and 40. I ran a ground wire and did nothing, then I figured out the UHF connector was the reason why the reading went that high. I put a different one on and it works great now. Very great product.

Had this kit for about a month now. Great products!! Got it for a trunk mount in my 2000 Buick Century. The mount itself is nearly indestructible- being made out of heavy gauge stainless. I had to modify it to fit by bending it by trial and error,(which was not easy) but the final result was excellent.The Belden cable was very high quality-no problems with installation, SWR was right on. Right Channel Radios was very professional all the way with helpful installation information and very fast shipping. Will surely use them again!
