Noise Filter for CB Radio Power Cords

If you're experiencing a significant amount of engine or electrical noise in your incoming CB radio transmissions, you'll want to make sure that your CB power wires aren't being run alongside other electrical wires and that you've wired your power cord directly to the battery terminals. However, sometimes noise persists even after taking these measures, or the installation makes it difficult to re-wire the power leads. In these cases, you'll want to try installing a noise filter between your CB radio and your battery. If you're frustrated with electrical noise that makes using your CB difficult, this filter will reduce interference and make incoming signals more intelligible.

This 20 amp noise filter is designed to reduce electrical noise that makes listening to incoming CB transmissions difficult. The filter uses a 3-pin power cord, which plugs directly into the back of most medium to large CB radios. The filter can also be used with radios that don't use a 3-pin power adapter, but basic wire splicing is required. The noise filter is encased in a small housing that can be mounted out-of-sight using the included mounting tabs. Running out from the noise filter are standard black and hot power leads that are used to draw power for the radio like any standard power cord. The power cord also includes an in-line fuse to prevent damage.

  • Reduce electrical interference in incoming CB transmissions
  • 3-pin power adapter makes installation easy on compatible radios
  • Filter can be mounted out-of-sight under the dash or seat
  • Includes in-line fuse
