Good Radio for a Buck
Review by The Plainville Bandit -
Bought it for $50 bucks. Used it as a base station radio at home and in my '06 Chevy Trailblazer. Good radio. Highly durable. I can see this thing lasting longer than the 30 year old Realistic 415 it replaced! (Posted on October 28, 2012)Overall Rating

Decent mid-sized radio
Review by Merlin the Redneck -
I got this radio a few years ago for my '92 F-150. It worked great in the woods so you don't have to jump out and see where to go next. Then, I put it in my '83 Chevy. Same thing, it worked great and soon it will be in a little Toyota. I had a magnetic antenna on the roof by switched to 2 four foot fiberglass whips, not only do they look sick they work really good. The Midland 5001z CB is the mix between the cheap-os and the fancy ones. You can't beat the 3 year warranty. (Posted on April 10, 2012)Overall Rating
