I recently purchased a Uniden PRO520XL CB radio and K40 antenna. Though they were shipped separately they arrived quickly, packed securely in boxes. Installation took less than half an hour in my Titan truck. Just days later I left on a 3 week tour of Northern California and Oregon with a small group of RVers. Combination worked very well through the trip. At one point, a three-mile distance has received loud and clear. The folks at Right Channel Radios were quick to answer questions and provide easy to use information.

I bought this CB radio for my 18 wheeler. I work for a local trucking company and this CB radio has been excellent. I bought the CB radio peak and tuned and my friends and other fellow truck drivers said my CB radio sounded loud and clear. I recommend Right Channel Radios to anyone looking to purchase a CB radio.

This is an extremely nice, compact CB that is perfect for Jeeps. It seems to have a higher audio output on transmit than other compact radios, and the 7 watts of receive audio is just perfect for when we have the tops down. For the money, this is probably the best compact CB on the market, bar none, and I've tried most of them. I also think the tune up is worth your money if you can make the investment--as well as an Astatic 636 noise-cancelling mike--also good for the top down Jeepster. All in all, you just can't go wrong with this as the platform of your system.

As an off-road enthusiast, I was in need of a CB radio to communicate with friends while on the trail. I own a 2006 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited and wanted a compact unit. After reading several reviews on rightchannelradios.com, I selected a Uniden Pro520XL with a Wilson 3' Flex antenna, a Fire-Flex coax cable, and a 10 watt PA speaker.

The price was hard to beat and the set up was perfect for my application and use (5 Stars!). I mounted the radio next to the shift selector with a special mounting bracket and the radio is so compact it does not interfere with driving the vehicle. The built-in, internal speaker is loud and clear making communication a breeze. As part of my purchase, I chose to have the radio peaked and tuned, which paid off handsomely; my friends claim I had the loudest and clearest signal out of a group of about 20 Jeeps during our last trip in the mountains.

Shipping was fast although it took a couple of extra days to have the radio peaked and tuned, which was fine. The radio seems to work great, and the set-up is perfect for a Jeep Wrangler application.
