This makes these antennas a great choice for someone who needs an antenna that can be installed quickly and easily. Note: While these antennas don't usually require tuning, it's important to test SWR to ensure safe operation levels. Lack of a ground plane or other issues unrelated to antenna length can cause high SWR levels and may potentially damage radio equipment if not corrected.
