I have used this type of mount for years. I have put some heavy antennas on this mount without a spring. I have never split one yet! Its easy to install and last for years. (Posted on April 5, 2012)

REALLY GOOD antenna STUD,WORKS great!

I have used just about every kind of antenna stud made BUT, this is what I ONLY use NOW . They work GREAT! EXCELLENT grounding , simple install, no drilling out holes on mounts. I have used this stud mount with 102" whips, 6 feet Francis antennas, Monkey Mades, and the Predator 10K . NO FAILURES. I use it with a STAINLESS STEEL bracket . Made to last for sure.
