Great Service from Right Channel Radios!

As an off-road enthusiast, I was in need of a CB radio to communicate with friends while on the trail. I own a 2006 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited and wanted a compact unit. After reading several reviews on rightchannelradios.com, I selected a Uniden Pro520XL with a Wilson 3' Flex antenna, a Fire-Flex coax cable, and a 10 watt PA speaker.

The price was hard to beat and the set up was perfect for my application and use (5 Stars!). I mounted the radio next to the shift selector with a special mounting bracket and the radio is so compact it does not interfere with driving the vehicle. The built-in, internal speaker is loud and clear making communication a breeze. As part of my purchase, I chose to have the radio peaked and tuned, which paid off handsomely; my friends claim I had the loudest and clearest signal out of a group of about 20 Jeeps during our last trip in the mountains.

Shipping was fast although it took a couple of extra days to have the radio peaked and tuned, which was fine. The radio seems to work great, and the set-up is perfect for a Jeep Wrangler application.

Communication from rightchannelradios.com was excellent; e-mail responses to the few questions I had were immediate. Furthermore, the reviews and tech tips available on rightchannelradios.com were very helpful. I sincerely hope someone finds this review equally helpful.

I highly recommend rightchannelradios.com and will return again for any
CB needs I have in the future.

Perfect for Jeeps

This is an extremely nice, compact CB that is perfect for Jeeps. It seems to have a higher audio output on transmit than other compact radios, and the 7 watts of receive audio is just perfect for when we have the top down. For the money, this is probably the best compact CB on the market, bar none, and I've tried most of them. I also think the tune up is worth your money if you can make the investment--as well as an Astatic 636 noise-cancelling mic--also good for the top down Jeepster. All in all, you just can't go wrong with this as the platform of your system.

I bought this CB radio for my 18 wheeler. I work for a local trucking company and this CB radio has been excellent. I bought the CB radio peak and tuned and my friends and other fellow truck drivers said my CB radio sounded loud and clear. I recommend Right Channel Radios to anyone looking to purchase a CB radio.

Good Radio, Great Service, Fast Shipping.

I recently purchased a Uniden PRO520XL CB radio and K40 antenna. Though they were shipped separately they arrived quickly, packed securely in boxes. Installation took less than half an hour in my Titan truck. Just days later I left on a 3 week tour of Northern California and Oregon with a small group of RVers. Combination worked very well through the trip. At one point, a three-mile distance has received loud and clear. The folks at Right Channel Radios were quick to answer questions and provide easy to use information.

I purchased the 520 Bearcat with the Wilson 5000 antenna. I am using my 12v power plug in the truck with the magnet attached to the roof. I'm getting great readings,0- 1,on my SWR meter. I am very satisfied with this purchase I am even more pleased with the customer service from RIGHT CHANNEL RADIOS. I never write reviews of products but due to the great customer service from them I decided to. As soon as I ordered the product on-line they began to update me on the status of the order and began to give me info on install and CB in general. Since I am new to CB, I found those information very HELPFUL. They even follow up a few days after your product arrives to see if you have more questions.GREAT company!

This is my first CB radio and it works great. It was very easy to install in my Subaru Forester. After adjusting the antenna and getting a good SWR reading I'm getting great sent and received transmissions on average I'm actually getting about 7 mile transmissions that are clear; probably helps that Ohio is pretty flat though. Love this radio and I would recommend it. Also the Right Channel Radios shipped everything super fast and provided great resource for installing and tuning. (Posted on April 28, 2012)

Good value, small size

No frills, just bullet proof quality radio. The small size fits into a cubby hole in my center console where larger radios couldn't think of fitting. I've owned other Unidens and have never had problems with any of them. By the way, I hate ordering over the internet, but had absolutely no problems with the order or delivery from Right Channel Radios. (Posted on May 25, 2012)

Compact and good quality.

I've had my radio for about 2 1/2 years with no issues. I always get great reception and others I communicate with claim I am loud and clear. I have mine in my pickup truck. I live near warehouses where truckers travel and it comes in handy whenever there are traffic problems. I also go camping in the mountains, always good to have this. (Posted on February 6, 2013)

I purchased a Uniden Pro 520 XL CB radio and a Wilson 1000 magnet antenna. For the money, this is probably the best compact CB on the market. I had absolutely no problem with the order or delivery from Right Channel Radios.The shipping cost (Quebec Canada) is very fair.
