This CB is great!

Review by Jeremy M.
Overall Rating
Cons None!

Pros- This CB was great. It was really easy to install and because of its size, I was able to mount it in a place that was out of the way but easy to access. After getting lost on my way to go wheeling, this made the trip a lot easier. The radio is easy to use and the sound is clear.

I rate this CB for the price and for my use of it a 5.

Very with this Radio!

I've had this radio for about three weeks now. I'm very happy with it. Really like the one-touch NOAA weather radio that grabs the strongest (closest) weather channel to give up-to-date weather, warnings, and forecasts. CB works well, first day out I was passing mile marker 88 and listening to truckers passing mile marker 83 - five miles out of a cheap CB radio is fantastic! Volume and clarity of the speaker is good - about what I expected. Gain control works well, and seems to be a rare feature on other radios of this size/price.

Great little CB that fits nicely into where the ashtray would be in my Tacoma with little modification. Looks good and quality is top notch. RCR is the best! (Posted on May 9, 2012)

What can I say? It's a great little CB (the only compact with NOAA, I believe). I needed a compact CB with NOAA, and this fits the bill. (Posted on June 4, 2012)

Awesome Little Radio

Review by Tony W.
Overall Rating
I did my research before buying this little radio. I could not find any other radios on the market that had the same feature set as this one. I was not very familiar with Midland beforehand but this radio is well put together. Just make sure you actually read the instructions about the WX channel changing. The radio does auto scan to the best WX channel available which is perfect for me. If you want it to scan to another channel just hit the PTT once. (Posted on November 25, 2012)

A must have radio!

I am real impressed with all the features and the quality of this CB! This is one hell of a piece of equipment and to top it all off, the low price! Works great! If you do not know what CB to get and you are new to them, YOU just can't go wrong with getting this one from ONLY Right Channel Radios!

Customer service is 20 plus! I think you are crazy if you buy from somebody else! (Posted on January 3, 2013)

Great little radio so far.

Review by DigitaLbraVo

It's a great little radio so far, granted my first, the speaker is probably expectedly a little under par but it's also small and easily fixed with an external plugged into the 1/8" jack in the back. Although once I remedied an antenna installation issue the speaker was miles clearer. Figuring out the dials is a bit fun but once you get what is going on where it's pretty easy to handle. Backlit screen and NOAA are what sold me.

NOAA channels come through clear and crisp, if it loses power (mine runs through accessory) it defaults to channel 19, no comment on the microphone as I haven't tuned my antenna yet. Nice and small fits in the little space near the cupholders under my radio on a 2012 Tacoma double cab. Little room left on one side if you don't center it. It may be my first but I'm not regretting it yet!

I'm gonna take off a star for it having a bottom mounted speaker (mine is double sided taped to the mount point but even then I don't feel like the speaker is muffled. It also doesn't remember my channel, the RF Gain knob is a bit on the confusing side so far, and sometimes when changing channels the chan knob doesn't need to click for it to go up/down one (that's my biggest complaint). Either way would buy again easily as the complaints are minor. (Posted on February 28, 2013)
