Awesome mount but...

Hey there, Twitch radio 407, coming at you from the south side of Seattle WA. I got this mount for my 2002 Chevy Tahoe and I got to say, very nice looking. However, I will say this, unless you have VERY small hands, I would go out and get a wing nut for this item. It took me 1 1/2 hours to complete installation but if i had a wing nut in the first place it would have only take 20 min tops. I put a K-40 Trucker on it and I got the FireRing coax.

And I highly recommend you get this item for the installation due to the tight fit and to ground it all out to the battery (-) side. Shipping was right on time and when I contacted them to make sure I was getting the right stuff, they got back with me with in 25 min. But anyways, have a great day and I would say I would rate this mount a 4 star. Would be 5 but install was kinda hard and had to go out and get wing nut. 73s, twitch radio out. This mount is very sturdy. It has nice finish and it fits. I drilled mine out to 3/4" to mount an NMO mount. It was a little difficult to fasten the one bolt and nut, but worth the effort. (Posted on February 27, 2013)
