If you want a factory look without taking a drill to your vehicle, the 2002 - 2007 GMC mount is ideal! This antenna hood mount is designed for 2002 and newer GMC/Chevy trucks, and for Chevy Avalanches, Tahoes and Suburbans. The mount attaches securely to existing holes in the driver's side of the hood frame, up top near the windshield. Recommended for antennas up to 4' tall.

Compatible with:	All CB antennas that use a standard 3/8" x 24 threaded base. Lug stud requires terminal or ring-style CB coax.

This mount is very sturdy. It has nice finish and it fits. I drilled mine out to 3/4" to mount an NMO mount. It was a little difficult to fasten the one bolt and nut, but worth the effort. (Posted on February 27, 2013)

Great mount; I love how it keeps a clean look to the truck. I agree with the others that it can be a bit of a pain to install the bolt and nut, a stud would be better. As a GM tech, I'm used to that kind of stuff but I'm sure not in the norm for the average "do-it-yourselfer". The mount feels like it could be a bit more sturdy, seems to move a lot with the heavy antenna. Overall, b+. (Posted on February 1, 2013)
