I have one in Portugal which is 13 years old and is the best. Thank you. I am from Portugal and maybe one day, I'll change for a new one.

I recommend the GTL 148!

I have had my 148 Cobra since 2001, when I started driving tractors. Since then I have moved it to my Blazer. It helps me to let drivers know to get in front of me as a four wheeler now. The radio is very user friendly. If you are one for not reading manuals, as I am, you can still learn very easily. I have found if you do not get a good antenna, the radio can not perform as it is intended. You get a 5 star from me!!!!

Great Radio & Great Service from Right Channel Radios!

My President finally gave out after many years of usage. Time for a new radio and I choose Cobra, since Cobras and Presidents were similar. This is the second time I have chosen Right Channel Radios for products. Each time I have placed an order with Right Channel Radios the order arrived sooner than expected. This radio is matching all the expectations I had. It has great distance and good clarity from the speaker. I experienced no problems in calibration to the antenna. I will choose a Cobra Radio again in the future. I have been using this radio now for about 1 year, and I constantly drive Interstates & Expressways to and from work several days during the week.

Good Old Radio

I'am from Germany, 50 years old ,CB-operator since 1977. I got my CB-radio from a flee market for only 5 (five) euros. After cleaning it worked very fine since two months. I hope also the next

Exactly what I expected

I had this product installed to my 2012 class A coach. I used the Firestik antenna to complete the system. The radio made me feel Cobra is the way to go as far as mobile radio's go. I bought two of them, one for my business partners coach and one for mine. We just go back from a business trip to Montana and with no service from our cell phones, the radio's really came in handy. We turned up the squelch and it was as we were the only two on the radio. Love this product, in fact I just order to hand held portable Cobra's as well. Thanks Right Channel Radios! Great radio!

I got my 148 GTL from a friend who had it for 25 yrs. I cleaned it up and it works great. I coupled it to a Wilson 5000 antenna that I got from Right Channel Radios and it is able to transmit long distances. Awesome reception! (Posted on January 16, 2013)
