paired with one for installation. For acceptable performance, the antenna coil should be above the roofline. If it's below the roofline, or largely hidden, you'll experience severe performance problems. The higher you can mount the antenna, the better. You'll also need to purchase CB coax cable to finalize your mounting installation.  

Recommended Uses: Center-load CB antennas offer great performance, but their solid lower shaft and plastic coil housing make them susceptible to damage if impacted. Because of this, they're recommended exclusively for on-pavement use with semi and pick-up trucks.
